IIIS Director Masashi Yanagisawa to Appear on TBS TV’s “Hiruobi”
Following his receipt of the Lasker Award, IIIS Director Masashi Yanagisawa will appear on TBS TV’s “Hiruobi” on Friday, September 11.
In the program, Dr. Yanagisawa will talk about how he feels about receiving the Lasker Award and look back on his research, from the discovery of orexin to his studies on how it works and how the brain controls sleep and wakefulness.
He will also talk about his plans for future sleep research and how a better understanding of sleep can help improve people’s health and quality of life.
