Toward the Realization of Medical Care that Enables People to Live Healthy Even at Age 100 -Moonshot Goal 7 Symposium 2022-

In April 2021, AMED launched a research and development project to achieve Moonshot Goal 7: “Realization of sustainable care systems to overcome major diseases by 2040, for enjoying one’s life with relief and release from health concerns until 100 years old”
At this symposium, held on Saturday July 16th, five project managers (PMs) spoke on the current status of their research and its future prospects. PM Masashi Yanagisawa, from IIIS, gave a lecture titled “Sleep and Hibernation: Deciphering the Mysteries.

In addition, one moonshot ambassador was invited and hold a discussion with PMs with questions from the floor and the web.
