How does orexin work in the mechanisms of weight control?~Balance of exercise, feeding and energy consumption~
Scientists including IIIS researchers, Dr. Miyo Kakizaki, Dr. Hiromasa Funato, Dr. Masashi Yanagisawa and their collaborators at Toho University found that each orexin receptor signaling has a unique role in energy metabolism, and orexin neurons are involved in the interactive effect of diet and exercise on body weight gain.
